Oladipo for Wooden Award?

This year of college basketball has not had a true number one for the main part of the year. Number one has lost weekly for a five week period earlier in the year. There isn't one or two teams that were favorites going into the tournament like last year. Last year we had Kentucky and Syracuse at number one and two for the most part of the regular season. The player of the year is undecided also. Last year Anthony Davis won the award and had the award locked up since the middle of the season last year. But this year unlike last year the player of the year could go either way. This year we have Victor Oladipo, he is having an outstanding year. He worked hard in the off season and is one of the best players in the country. Even Dick Vitale is liking his performance, during an Indiana vs. Michigan State game earlier he called him "Jordanesk." comparing him to Jordan when he played for North Carolina in college. How accurate is this, well we don't know Jordan won the award twice in his three years in college. Olidipo has some work to do in the award/championship catagory. It would start with winning a national championship and winning the Wooden Award. Maybe Vitale is right at least in the college comparison. We'll see.
